My name is Angelo and I am former cell exec turned Mindfulness Coach and Yoga Instructor, I've been teaching in prisons and jails in California for the past 5 years and transitioned to teaching Mindfulness to grade school kids in marginalized communities to help curb the school to prison pipeline.
I left the cell phone industry after 12 years of helping build it. I both witnessed and experienced early on what is very apparent today; Excessive cell phone use, namely social media engagement has negative effects on our brains.
My name is Adua Hernandez, I was born in Venezuela in 1992, and I have been painting my entire life. I painted my first murals when I was two and three years old, those were not my mother's favorites but I grew up and I improved my painting skills, I studied illustration in the Instituto de Diseño de Caracas. I graduated in 2013 and since then, I've been painting and having so much fun exploring new styles and techniques. But who am I? How do I define myself? people say that your environment defines who you are, but it was not my case. Due to my country situation I grew up shut-in my house which was a good thing, because I read a lot of books, I drew, I painted and practiced music, all these things turned my reality into a fantasy world: that definitely shaped my personality and it was the reason to study illustration so I would never be far from that world.
